These are totally adorable!! Question for you...did you fill the whole horse with light brown and then add the tail and mane or did you pipe around that area? I just love these. Thank you for your time!!
Funny you should ask that! I've done these a few different ways. The mane always goes on top. It's the tail that's been a problem for me. In the photo above, the tail overlaps the horse's rear slightly which causes the tail to kind of crater. Other times I flooded the light brown over the tail area then added the dark tail on top. I didn't like that look. Then I tried flooding the tan just up to where the tail should be, then flood the tail next to it. That looked kind of weird. Sooooo, I guess the first option - the one you see here was probably the best way. :)
